Trip May 2026

This was already our 9th trip to Pakistan. This time we kept it short, just one week, but we packed what could easily have been three weeks’ worth of meetings into those seven days…

Among other things, we met with the organization Pakistan Partnership Initiative in Islamabad. It is a highly professional organization that is also committed to helping free people from debt bondage. We are currently exploring ways in which we can work together. And since we were in Islamabad anyway, we also visited the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Pakistan to reconnect with both old and new acquaintances.

We also met several families whom we hope to help free from debt bondage. These included five households from one extended family, as well as two other families we met at different brick kilns. We will be developing plans for all of them. It was a wonderful, hopeful, and heartwarming experience.

As on every trip, we also try to gather with the freed families and widows and their children to enjoy a pizza meal together. Once again, it was an incredible celebration. The transformation we continue to witness is truly remarkable and is the result of all our collective efforts. AMAZING!

We are already looking forward to our next trips. In the meantime, we continue to work hard on baksteencampagne.nl and several other initiatives.
