A journey that normally takes 13 hours by car now took over 17 hours. The area was devastated\u2014household belongings piled up, roofs destroyed, and people living in makeshift stilt huts on higher ground. Once again, we were able to encourage them with food, water, and medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure
