Trip February ’24

I always look forward to returning to Pakistan. Meeting the families, friends, and contacts and hearing their stories is rewarding, but also confronting. What is certain, however, is that with the help we can provide, their lives have truly changed for the better.

Together with my friends, we traveled to Sindh to meet the families we support. In the small village, we are always warmly welcomed. The children have grown and enjoy looking at photos from previous visits.

Back in Lahore, we visit the families and discuss progress and challenges. It’s always a joyful reunion. We also share meals together, strengthening friendships among them as well.

The Gul family is doing very well. The children are adapting to the school system and learning successfully. Both parents work where they can to provide a stable income. It’s still not enough, so we continue to support them. But what a transformation! The poverty and hopelessness have truly disappeared from their faces. That’s what we do this for—to offer a new future for this and the next generation!
