Floods in Kasur

In June 2022, we received an invitation to visit the Kasur district. Now, a month later, a catastrophe struck. Due to heavy rainfall and overflowing dams, neighboring India was forced to release water, sending huge volumes into Pakistan and causing rivers to overflow. Fields, roads, houses—everything was submerged.

Our friends went there again to provide help wherever possible. It was a difficult journey by motorcycle, boat, and on foot. Once there, we were able to encourage the people and offer assistance wherever we could.
