Overcoming leukemia

UPDATE March 18

Today we received the sad news that our dear friend has passed away, so young… life isn’t fair. We will support the family with the costs for the time in the hospital and the funeral.

Earlier this week, I received news that Aman, one of the children from a (widow) family we support, fell seriously ill. He had a high fever. At the hospital, several tests were done, and it quickly became clear that something was very wrong. He was transferred the same day to another hospital specializing in cancer. After blood tests, the diagnosis came back: acute leukemia. We are still awaiting a bone marrow test.

Beyond our concern for our friend, the bills still need to be paid. Impossible for this family on their own, but together we can make it manageable.
