Debt bondage is a form of slavery in which entire families are often trapped for generations by a debt. This debt is taken on with an employer where both working and living conditions are deplorable. Because of extremely low wages, high interest, and charges for food and housing, repayment becomes virtually impossible.

The result? Whole families grow up in poverty, without education and without a future.

This is how we build freedom together for families who are trapped.

With our BeFree! program, our goal for 2026–2027 is to free up to 30 families from modern slavery. Whether we can achieve this fully depends on the resources available.

Every brick you purchase contributes to more than liberation alone. We provide families with safe shelter, basic necessities, help find and create employment opportunities, and offer coaching and education. By supporting families toward self-sufficiency, we prevent them from being forced to return to the kilns.
