The Widows+ Fund
The widows we support are introduced to us through our local partners. We have all visited them (regularly) in their homes. Every situation is unique, and each widow has her own story. Depending on income, fixed expenses, and living conditions, we adjust the monthly support. Families are visited every month and guided where needed. Once the children complete their education and begin working, they contribute additional income. At that point, we either reduce or stop the financial support.
The difference before and after financial support is remarkable. Where there was once anxiety, stress, shame, and exhaustion, there is now calm—and laughter returns!
Meet the Widows We Support

Nasreen+
After her husband passed away, her father-in-law took the family in. As a single mother, it is not easy to cover all living expenses. We are happy to lend a helping hand.

Kathreen+
Living in a house with your family but having no private room or space… it’s not easy when you work hard and your kids are studying. Yet they manage it. They’re amazing!

Martha+
Despite all the hard work and studying, there’s always a bright smile in Martha’s family. It’s always a joy to see each other—and now they are completely self-sufficient!

Irshad+
It’s always a pleasure to meet Irshad, her son, and her daughter. Hardworking people who want to make something of their lives!
With great sorrow, in 2025 we had to say goodbye to her youngest son, Aman, after a short illness.

Shumaila+
Working full-time and raising three daughters—it’s not an easy position. But what hardworking women these ladies are! We’re proud of them!
Holiday
Every year we offere families from the Widows+ Fund and the BeFree! program a short vacation—an experience they never even dared to dream of. We do this because we know how valuable it is to enjoy and relax for a while, and to strengthen bonds and networks. Would you like to contribute? Feel free to invest with us 😉
