Yes, investing should be fun… even if it doesn’t benefit you financially. We believe in investing in others, simply to make life a little brighter. And we hope it brings you a bit of joy too.

If the idea of investing already annoys you… please don’t do it! Just treat yourself to a delicious cake and celebrate life. Yes, you deserve to celebrate 😉 But… if our work gives you goosebumps, oh man… your donation—gold or diamonds—are more than welcome 😉

Here’s what’s good to know: we keep our overhead as low as possible. No one is on the payroll, but we do have fixed costs like hosting, a business phone number, Chamber of Commerce registration, and a Mollie account. A small percentage of all donations goes toward covering this overhead.

So far, travel expenses have mostly been self-funded, as have most of our initiatives. Our founder is also starting a business in Pakistan, which means many costs fall under the business side. But we also need to be transparent with the tax authorities, since some costs are the foundation’s responsibility. Therefore, if a trip has separate funding, part of the expenses may be reimbursed. And yes, we stay in safe hotels and don’t fly business class (unless we cover it ourselves).

The foundation has an exceptionally skilled treasurer, a Supervisory Board for oversight, and a transparent annual report. Still getting goosebumps? Go ahead—choose a program that makes your heart race. Or just invest in the foundation—we have plenty of plans!
